All courses come with a fully accredited certificate. All our courses are fully accredited by Associated Beauty Therapists (ABT) to enable you to obtain your trade accounts and public liability insurance in order to work on the general public.

Acrylic or Gel Nail Extensions

Course Content

Health and safety: Contra indications: Hygiene: Equipment and products: Basic (dry) manicure and natural nail prep: Tip selection: Tip application: Shaping tips: Blending in tips: Application of Product: Filing and shaping the nails: Finishing ready for gel polish or topcoat. We include the technique of doing Ombre with the Acrylic course. The Electric file will make the job easier and quicker and techniques for using it will be shown throughout the course. All certificates are issued on the day of the course.

We have very flexible learning where you can take a break when you need to, but longer breaks means a longer day. As we do not operate large classes, we can work to your speed and abilities. It is advisable to bring some lunch for the day but we have tea, coffee and water available at the centre throughout the day.

Please note that all our course times are flexible as we work to your abilities. Some learners finish earlier but always be prepared to be at the centre for longer.
